The INTEGIRLS Math Competition consists of individual, team, and relay rounds along with fun STEM related activities for girls and non-binary individuals! All levels of math experience are welcome!
Our Math Competition isn't just about winning through equations and formulas; it's about building connections, engaging with peers, and celebrating the beauty of math. Our competition participants attend to join a wonderful community, and we're thrilled for YOU to become take part in this experience with us.
All you have to do is sign up, and INTEGIRLS will place you in a team of up to 4 people. If you already have a team, however, let us know who they are in the form!
This competition is designed for girls and non-binary individuals only. If you do not identify as either of them, you are more than welcome to volunteer and support us as a proctor. Please email us at singapore@integirls.org for inquiries. :)
This competition is open to all female-identifying and non-binary students under the age of 18. You do not need to live in Singapore to compete. If you do not fall under these requirements, please consider helping out as a volunteer! All competition participants and volunteers will receive certified service hours from the INTEGIRLS nonprofit.
The competition has two divisions:
Middle school: 12-14 yr. old
High school: 15-18 yr. old
There will be three rounds: individual, team, and relay. All rounds will be a combination of number theory, combinatorics, geometry, and algebra.
You do not need to stay for the entire duration of the competition! You may choose to participate in any combination of the rounds depending on when you’re available.
Individual Round: 15 questions to be solved in 45 minutes
Team Round: 12 problems to be solved in 40 minutes
Relay Round: 5-10 problems to be solved in 10 minutes
Our amazing problem-writing team, which includes students from MIT and Caltech, is hard at work to ensure that there will be problems for problem-solvers of all levels! All levels of math experience are welcome and encouraged to participate. The middle school problems will range from introductory to AMC 10 level, while the high school problems will be more advanced. Team round problems will cover various difficulty levels.
